Flynote Productions Detroit
When asked about his music, he responds, “I like the term ‘logical progression’, because it defines all of my philosophies about music. I like music that flows…that has elements of house, techno and trance all fused together. That is where I’m at right now, but I will always be progressing through new mixtures of sound, not limiting myself to particular genres, but instead always being on the cutting edge of music: that’s what counts. You have to be two steps ahead of everyone else. I’ve learned this from one of the most successful DJ/producers in the world, John Digweed”.
Today, he currently works with Flynote Productions, spinning at local Detroit clubs and underground parties. “Everyone at Flynote is awesome and has the same love, dedication and philosophies about music, which is great. We are a tight knit group and have had many great experiences through out the last couple of years”, he says. His future plans are to work with Flynote to promote their unique and borderless sound and eventually enter the national and global arenas.

This man is music. With a collection of over 300 CDs, crates and boxes full of records, and thousands upon thousands of mp3's, Todd Benivegna considers himself a connoisseur of electronic music. At the young age of 14, he discovered electronica and immediately fell in love. What soon followed was an addiction, then an ongoing "research" project. "I found myself digging deeper and deeper…always looking for the newest and deepest stuff I could find”, Todd says. Through the years he would spend his free time listening to music and going to local parties and clubs to hear the hottest DJs in town. "Now at 23, I've come a long way. I used to just listen to the music...but that wasn't enough. I started spinning, and then it was all over, there was no going back. I have a full blown recording studio in my basement, where I spend most of my time recording and producing".
